Gyoza, also known as dumplings or potstickers, are a popular dish beloved in Japanese homes. Among them, AJINOMOTO Gyoza (Japanese) by AJINOMOTO FROZEN FOODS has been a longtime favorite since its debut in 1972.
Pan-fried gyoza is the most common style in Japan and this charming product lets you achieve crispy perfection using just a frying pan–no oil or water needed. In addition to its easy preparation, it offers juicy, authentic flavor.
AJINOMOTO Gyoza, both delicious and easy to make, went viral on social media in 2023 after a post said, “My gyoza is sticking to the frying pan!” and drew widespread attention.

AJINOMOTO BRAND GYOZA Station is open in a section of the Osaka Gourmet Expo 2025, held in the Taiyo no Hiroba at Osaka Castle Park, coinciding with the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
Osaka Gourmet Expo 2025 is the ultimate food festival, featuring renowned restaurants from across the country, including those listed in the Michelin Guide and popular spots with endless lines. Top-tier gourmet dishes come together in one place, captivating visitors.

At this special event, AJINOMOTO BRAND GYOZA Station is a must-try experience.
At the booth, each table is equipped with a portable gas stove and frying pan, allowing customers to experience frying their own AJINOMOTO Gyoza.
Once you’ve pan-fried the Gyoza, enjoy the piping hot, freshly cooked dumplings! You can have a great time with your group just like at a barbecue.

Cooking Gyoza is surprisingly simple. Just arrange the frozen dumplings directly on the frying pan and you’ll have crispy hanetsuki gyoza (“gyoza with wings”) in about five minutes! This authentic result, almost as if an expert chef made it, is easy for both children and adults to recreate.
