"Little Fun DIY Studio" started from something I love

After graduating from university, the owner, Becky, was struggling to decide whether to start her own shop or get a job. At the time, Becky loved tufting, which was popular in Korea, and made pieces using that technique. Her desire to do what she loved for a living won out, and she decided to start up "Little Fun DIY Studio."

Tufting is a method of making carpets and rugs by using power tools to plant fibers into fabric. Becky says the appeal of Poring Bear Art is that even if you use the same materials, completely different pieces are created. Poring Art is a technique in which a mixture of special materials and acrylic paint is dripped onto a canvas to create a work of art.

The unpredictable movement of the liquid mixes with the marbled patterns, creating beautiful designs. What's more, the canvas for Poring Bear Art is a bear-shaped plastic figure. "I was approached by various companies and restaurants, and I set up stalls at events, which led to meeting a wide range of customers, and I really feel like the circle of art is expanding," she says with a smile. Now, influencers and celebrities visit her shop, and she enjoys the encounters and interactions she has had since starting it.

Becky also places great importance on interacting with the children who visit her shop. "It's more fun than anything to be exposed to the children's spirit of challenge and creativity," she says. Becky smiles broadly and says it's refreshing and delightful to be called "teacher" by the children.
