Ishikawa Traditional Crafts Fair 2026 – ISHIKAWA CRAFT PRIDE –

“Ishikawa Traditional Crafts Fair 2026 – ISHIKAWA CRAFT PRIDE –”, one of Japan’s largest celebrations of traditional crafts, will be held at the Tokyo International Forum from Friday, February 6 to Sunday, February 8, 2026.
The Heritage of Ishikawa Craftsmanship
Home to a remarkable heritage of traditional craftsmanship, Ishikawa Prefecture boasts 36 designated craft industries that have been passed down through generations since the Edo period, thanks to cultural initiatives led by the Kaga Domain’s Maeda clan. With the highest number of Living National Treasures and award-winning artisans per capita for over two decades (61.3 per million people), Ishikawa is recognized as one of Japan’s leading cultural regions.
Event Overview and Special Highlights

This event brings together 15,000 carefully selected works and artisans from all 36 craft regions of Ishikawa. Visitors will have the rare opportunity to see, touch, and purchase every item on display — making it one of the largest craft fairs in the country.
In addition to the exhibition and sale of traditional crafts, this year’s fair also highlights new beginnings for communities affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, including newly created works born from lost workshops and vessels crafted from reclaimed materials.
Limited-edition items developed in collaboration with world-renowned patissier Hironobu Tsujiguchi will also be available.

Visitors can enjoy hands-on workshops to experience traditional techniques firsthand, as well as a special kimono show unveiling the latest creations in Kaga Yuzen dyeing, Ushikubi Tsumugi silk, and Kaga embroidery.
We invite you to be part of this once-a-year celebration of craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
