Three Recommended Menu Items
1. Sutadon: Definitely This! Get Addicted to This Secret Sauce
The amazingly popular dish, Sutadon. It comes with a raw egg and miso soup.
The Densetsu no Sutadonya style of eating is to mix the pork, which has been sautéed in an original garlic-soy dipping sauce, with the raw egg.
When actually eating it, our writer became addicted to the garlic-soy sauce and couldn’t stop eating.
You will be given a raw egg for you to crack open yourself before eating. If you don’t like raw eggs, you are able to switch it out for a hot spring egg that has been soft-boiled over a fire.
The mini-don is priced at 530 yen plus tax, the normal serving at 630 yen plus tax, extra rice at 730 yen plus tax, and extra meat at 780 yen plus tax.
2. Shio Sutadon: Popular Among Light Flavor Lovers!
Shio Sutadon (Salt Sutadon) is very popular among those that love light flavors. It comes with grated yam and miso soup.
Although this dish is plainer than the original Sutadon, it is strongly seasoned with salt and pepper and is just as filling.
The Shio Sutadon is eaten by pouring grated yam on top. The pork is enveloped by soft grated yam and, though it is simply seasoned, it packs a punch, making it a dish that you can be satisfied with.
The mini-don is priced at 630 yen plus tax, the normal serving at 730 yen plus tax, extra rice at 830 yen plus tax, and extra meat at 880 yen plus tax.
3. Stamina Curry: Large in Size!
The Stamina Curry uses the same amount, three bowls of white rice, as the donburi menu. As it also contains curry roux, it is a considerably large serving.
The curry roux is mildly sweet and contains onions, pork, and garlic. It’s perfect for regaining your stamina.
The dish is offered in the same sizes as the donburi menu. The mini is 580 yen plus tax, the normal is 680 yen plus tax, extra rice is 780 yen plus tax, and extra meat is 830 yen plus tax.
Furthermore, you can also order additional curry roux (120 yen plus tax) or the Suta Plate with additional meat (380 yen plus tax), both of which we recommend for those that want to eat a solid meal.
