Some of the most impressive exhibits include "Bubble Universe: Physical Light, Bubbles of Light, Wobbling Light, and Environmental Light" - a space with dazzling spheres that look like glistening floating bubbles changing color one after another, the "Black Waves - Megalith Crystal Formation" exhibit - a realm of crystals projecting black crashing waves in a mesmerizing space and "Microcosmoses," in which hundreds of lights move like clockwork around a dazzling room, changing color, pace and interacting with surroundings.
Visitors can venture through different environments and art, each enticing different emotions by creating a new atmosphere.

2. teamLab Planets TOKYO DMM.com (Toyosu, Tokyo)

teamLab Planets TOKYO DMM.com is a compact museum located in Tokyo's Toyosu district. The facility is home to a total of nine exhibits centered around the concept “Body Immersive.” The entire exhibition can be enjoyed in around one to two hours.
We recommend starting your experience with the most famous exhibit: “Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People – Infinity.”
Water fills the exhibit at ankle height and koi fish made from light will appear, swimming around as people walk into the water. As time passes, the koi will transform into flowers. This moving production will make you forget about the passage of time.

The TDK Museum in Akita is a free admission facility that features teamLab's "Interactive Magnetic Field Theater" among other exhibits.
The "Interactive Magnetic Field Theater by teamLab" is a digital installation in which viewers move freely through a space enveloped by images projected on the floor and surrounding walls, providing an immersive encounter with the dynamics of magnetism.
Visitors can engage with the projected floating objects (such as earth, planets, aurora, and free electrons) by touching them. The artwork adapts in real time to the viewer's position and actions, ensuring that each experience is unique and irreproducible.

6. 100 Years Sea in Tokushima: An Innovative Culinary Experience Embracing Sustainability

7. teamLab Forest Fukuoka
Catching and Collecting Forest

Located on the fifth floor of BOSS E・ZO FUKUOKA—an amusement facility in Fukuoka—is Kyushu’s first permanent teamLab exhibition. There are ten art exhibits at teamLab Forest Fukuoka – SBI SECURITIES derived from two themes: “Catching and Collecting Forest” and “Athletics Forest.”

Visitors who download the “Catching and Collecting Forest” app can catch and collect animals and insects that appear inside the exhibits on their smartphones. You can also release the animals you’ve caught and return them to the exhibit.
This exhibition is popular among kids since it's the most hands-on, experience-based teamLab exhibition in Japan! We also recommend visiting with children during spring or summer vacation.

8. teamLab Gallery Matama Beach (Kunisaki Peninsula, Oita)
teamLab Gallery Matama Beach opened in the city of Bungotakada ahead of the Kunisaki Art Festival, which took place in the autumn of 2014.
The interactive art installation "Flowers and People, Cannot be Controlled but Live Together" was inspired by the nature-rich environment of the Kunisaki Peninsula, where blossoming trees planted by humans coexist with wild plants.
The flowers are interactive, responding to the viewer’s proximity or touch. They can come to life, shed their petals, wither, or perish instantaneously. Interaction with the installation results in perpetual transformations: past visual states never repeat. The artwork explores the concept of human involvement with nature founded on the principle that nature cannot be controlled.

9. teamLab Ruins and Heritage: Rinkan Spa & Tea Ceremony (Takeo Onsen, Saga)

Nestled amidst the lush serenity of Takeo Onsen's Mifuneyama Rakuen Garden, a site believed to have emerged from the Ariake Sea 3 million years ago, lies a captivating fusion of history, nature, and immersive art experiences.
This remarkable landscape features various ruins, including a 3,000-year-old sacred tree and a cave where the renowned monk Gyoki enshrined statues of the 500 Arhats 1,300 years ago. The entwined roots of natural and human history extend to modern times, with remnants of structures lost and reclaimed by the flow of time.
In an innovative exhibition by teamLab, the aim is to seamlessly integrate art with the historic natural setting, reestablishing a deep connection with the essence of time, the environment, and humanity. As visitors immerse themselves in the art amidst the sauna, participate in alternating hot and cold baths, and savor calming teas, they are invited to unlock a transcendent state, blending with the surrounding forest dotted with enigmatic ruins and resonating with Gyoki's legacy.

The historical context of Japanese saunas can be traced back to Gyoki, a notable monk of the Nara period (710-784). A fervent devotee, Gyoki advocated for the wellness of his countrymen, popularizing the practice of traditional saunas to alleviate ailments and promote communal well-being.

The exhibition further encompasses an ethereal display of real-time, interactive artworks curated within the ancient sauna ruins. Notably, the enchanting "Flowers and People" exhibit unfolds a dynamic cycle of flowering through the seasons, responding to the presence and movements of visitors.
In this captivating digital environment, guests can also engage with light illustrations of creatures, including snakes, lizards, and a tranquil whale swimming along the bathhouse walls.

10. teamLab Future Park Okinawa

teamLab Future Park Okinawa is an interactive art exhibition promoting creativity and co-creation. Focusing on creativity, an irreplaceable natural trait that we all have inside ourselves, and connection, the park encourages visitors to play freely and collaborate.

Visitors can explore through a variety of different realms from rooms full of light spheres and mirrors to slides full of colorful fruit animations.

The main exhibition, "Graffiti Nature in a Beating Valley," connects visitors and the art installations with a winding digital terrain projecting 3D animals, flowers, and waves of light. Visitors can create their very own creatures by drawing on a piece of paper and watching as the image comes to life in the magical space.
The valley is unpredictable, hosting a wide variety of animals and people. As guests interact with creatures the environment changes, animals disappear, multiply, and reemerge. Blossoming flowers scatter once stepped on, creating a world of beautiful creatures and nature in a digital habitat.

Other exciting features of the exhibition include "Waterfall Droplets"- which flow down the valley, becoming a body of water when guests work together to collect the droplets by using their bodies, "Animals of Flowers," "Symbiotic Lives II" - where animals form from colorful seasonal flowers within an interactive environment, reacting to the touch of visitors scattering into hundreds of petals.
"Story of the Time when Gods Were Everywhere" is an interactive mural of painted animals, symbolism, and pictographs from ancient China, while "Bouncing Water Genius " is an interactive hopscotch where guests hop through digital water onto colorful shapes and watch as nature flourishes after each step!
