NAKED FLOWERS FOR YOU: A Health-Oriented Immersive Art Experience in the Heart of Tokyo

Located on the eighth floor of Tokyo’s Yurakucho Marui shopping mall, NAKED FLOWERS FOR YOU is comprised of interactive art experiences and a health and sustainability-focused cafe space.

The ambitious project opened its doors in 2022 and offers guests a personalized healing experience by collecting their information and giving individual recommendations based on this.

The cafe offers personalized health drinks prepared especially for the customer as per the information obtained during the NAKED FLOWERS FOR YOU experience. There is also a main menu that offers a wide range of delicious drinks such as smoothies, coffee, floral teas, and soft drinks made using fresh fruit and vegetables.

At the heart of this immersive experience is OUSAI, a gigantic tree that reflects the seasons by changing color, including changing to an adorable cherry-blossom pink when representing spring. The light cast by OUSAI changes the color of the entire space. Delicious, nutrient-rich medicinal chocolates are on offer in the space.

From January 21 until mid-February 2023, NAKED FLOWERS FOR YOU will be offering two new experiences, NAKED Hanamikuji and delicious Sakura Zenzai!

An area of the cafe will be decorated with real cherry blossoms, which will be fused with digital art for an unforgettable immersive experience. At the cafe, guests can enjoy the delicious winter treat Sakura Zenzai for a limited time.

Zenzai is a traditional Japanese dessert made with sweet red bean soup and grilled mochi (sweet glutinous rice cake), often enjoyed in Japan during the colder months. NAKED INC’s unique twist on this dessert is colored pink, contains both pink and white mochi and is topped with a cherry blossom!

“Hamamikuji” combines the words “hanami” (cherry blossom viewing) and “omikuji,” a traditional paper fortune slip received at shrines and temples in Japan, particularly popular at the beginning of the year.

NAKED FLOWERS’ unique omikuji experience involves choosing your favorite flower and then receiving a fortune! The flower charm attached to the fortune can either be tied to a tree branch, or taken home as a keepsake.
