Tosa Bay, surrounded by Kochi Prefecture, benefits from the Kuroshio Current. This warm water stream is famous for attracting many whales and dolphins, and you can see a wide variety of whales and dolphins. Among them, the most representative are Bryde's whale, common dolphin, pilot whale, and southern pilot whale.

The Bryde's whale, which is particularly commonly seen, is attracted to Kochi's Kuroshio Current and lives here all year round. For this reason, the encounter rate off Cape Ashizuri is incomparably higher than in other areas.

During the tour, you will cruise around the ocean and Tosa Bay on a boat run by local fishermen.

From the boat, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cape Ashizuri from the sea, and in addition to whales and dolphins, you can also expect to see schools of dolphins, gliding flying fish, and encounters with seabirds .
