``Fuse Ebisu'', which will be held for three days from January 9th to 11th, 2024, is a New Year's event to pray for business prosperity. During these three days, stalls line the approach from Kintetsu Fuse Station, and the shrine grounds are crowded with worshipers buying lucky bamboo leaves.

Who is Ebessan of Fuse? ?

Fuse Ebisu Shrine was enshrined separately from Nishinomiya Ebisu Shrine in 1952, and is affectionately known as Fuse Ebisu-san.

In 1954 (Showa 29), Nishinomiya Shrine requested the mitamashiro of Ebisu Shrine, and the rituals at Fuse Ebisu Shrine began.

As the area surrounding the festival approach to Fuse Ebisu Shrine developed as a commercial area, in 1988 (Showa 63), a request was made for Koto Shironushi no Mikoto from Imamiya Ebisu Shrine in Osaka, and since then the solemn ceremony has been held. We perform rituals and look up to the vast divine virtues.

Japan's largest Ebessan

Fuse Ebisu Shrine is home to the largest cast Ebisu statue in Japan.

We received messages from the 2024 Lucky Musumes about the good things about Higashiosaka!

First up is Natsuki Imanaka, Miss Fukumusume 2024.

Mr. Imanaka: When I walk through the shopping district, people in the town kindly ask me, ``Where are you going?'' It is a warm city where you can feel the connections between people.

Next up are the two semi-Miss Fuku Musume.

This is Yuina Yoshihara.

Mr. Yoshihara: During the parade, everyone in the Fuse shopping district welcomed us with smiles and I could feel the warmth of the people. I also think that the good thing about Higashiosaka is that it is a very lively town where sports and rugby are popular.

Another semi-miss Fukumusume, Momoka Mantoku

Mr. Mantoku: My recommended restaurant in Higashiosaka is Okashishi Momoya. This sweets shop had sweets with a name very similar to mine, and I felt a connection with them, and then I also connected with Fuse Ebisu Shrine. We are looking forward to seeing you at Fuse Ebisu.

Finally, from among the prize winners, we have Yasumi Miyamoto.

Mr. Miyamoto: My recommended shop is the croquette shop ``Niku no Yamajin'' located in the Fuse shopping district. Please stop by when you head to Fuse Ebisu Shrine.
