Searching for creatures at the fishing port / Kunimi Jellyfish Community Center

Let's depart, the creature exploration team!

Use a net to search for sea creatures on the quay of the fishing port on the Echizen coast. An expert will explain the creatures you catch on the spot. In some cases, they may even be exhibited at the Kunimi Jellyfish Community Center! The necessary tools and fishing port usage fees are included in the price, so you can rest assured. Making a bottle aquarium for killifish / Kunimi Jellyfish Community Center

Let's make a house for medaka fish.

Decorate the bottle with marbles and aquatic plants to create a small killifish tank. Experience making your own salt using the rich seawater of Echizen Coast / Shino Salt Works

A condensed version of the sea of ​​Fukui.

This is a salt-making workshop held at the only salt factory in Fukui Prefecture. Seawater pumped up from the Echizen coast is boiled in a stone pot, and the process of it turning into salt while being stirred is a sight to behold. The salt you make can be packed in an Echizen washi paper bag and taken home. There will also be a gift of "Hyakusho Salt" produced in-house, so enjoy comparing the taste with your own salt.
