1. Dynaland

Dynaland, located in Takasu-cho, Gujo City, is one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan. It is a 65-minute drive from Nagoya, via the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway and Ichinomiya Junction. There are eighteen courses available, including those suitable for beginners, making this a resort for skiers of all levels.

Last season, the resort was open at night from December 29, 2023, to March 16, 2024.

Skiing at night is different from skiing during the day. From spring to autumn, the resort transforms into a camping site. This year's ski season is scheduled to open on December 7.

Takasu Snow Park is located next to Dynaland, and a combined ticket that allows skiers to use both facilities is also available.

There are onsen (hot spring) facilities in the area, such as Bokka and Kamiho no Yu, so it might be fun to bathe after skiing.

This resort is scheduled to open on December 7, the same day as Dynaland.

To reach Washigatake Ski Resort, it is an hour's drive from Nagoya via the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway. The resort is located just 3 kilometers from Takasu Interchange, making it easily accessible by car.

There are thirteen courses that are long and broad. One of them is 400 meters wide, so there is no need to worry about bumping into other skiers. The resort is open from 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM.

It is an 80-minute drive on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway from Ichinomiya Junction to Meiho Snow Resort, which is equipped with a snow cannon. While some ski resorts may be affected by a lack of snowfall, this will not be the case at this resort.

In summer, visitors can enjoy various activities such as camping, canoeing, ziplining, and a ropes course.
