This half-day tour starts with a meeting at a hotel in Hiroshima City or at JR Hiroshima Station, followed by a taxi and ferry ride to Miya Island. Upon arrival, you'll visit the World Heritage site, Itsukushima Island Shrine, and admire the vermilion shrine buildings and the large torii gate, whose appearance changes with the tide. Next, you'll stroll through the charming approach to the shrine and the temple town, enjoying Miya Island specialties such as grilled oysters and momiji manju (maple leaf-shaped steamed buns) while browsing souvenir shops and long-established stores. You'll also see deer roaming the island, experiencing a unique time on this "sacred island" where history and nature blend seamlessly. We can also adjust your stay on the island upon request.

Meet at 13:30 at a hotel in Hiroshima City or at JR Hiroshima Station.

13:30-14:15 Travel to Miya Island by taxi and ferry.

14:15 Miya Island: Visit Itsukushima Island Shrine (World Heritage Site) and explore the surrounding area.
