Yoroshi Rice Bran Washing Powder (1080 yen~ plus tax) is a facial cleanser made using kome-nuka (*1), removed during the rice-polishing process, as an ingredient.

This product was released in a form fitting for the modern time with an ingredient that was used in Japan long ago. Rice bran contains components that will make your skin smooth and velvety. It is said that rice bran was used as a body wash in Japan during those days.

This is a facial cleanser that is used by mixing powder with water, so one of its advantages is that it is light and travel-friendly. You can easily bring it home even when you purchase a large quantity.

This product can also be tested out at the shop. Ask any of the hakama-wearing staff for assistance and definitely please try testing out how it feels on your skin.

When we tested it out, there was a faint hot spring and rice fragrance when it was lathered. It seems that mineral salts, a component of hot springs, are also included in its ingredients.

The finely textured foam is gentle and pleasant to the touch on the skin. It left our skin moist after washing it off and we were personally able to experience the smoothness that it provides.

As the kimono and hakama are designed to able to be worn immediately, it took no more than two minutes to finish getting dressed. This is a great service for travelers that are worried that they don't have enough time in their schedule to try wearing a kimono.
