Flower Festival 2024, Showa Kinen Park

Showa Kinen Park, Tokyo's mesmerizing flower garden, is celebrating its 41st anniversary with a splendid Flower Festival held until May 25, 2025.

During the festival, 1.6 million Nemophila flowers will be painting the park in a sea of delicate blue petals alongside cherry blossoms, tulips, and other floral delights.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of spring colors and flowers, photo spots such as love heart benches and a door frame prop, as well as special photo events.

A must for photographers, on April 26, May 1 and 17 the garden will have a special photo opportunity for visitors to capture adorable bubbles alongside nemophila flowers from 10:30-11:00 and 12:00-12:30.

Until mid-April, cherry blossoms can be enjoyed in the park and along the Zanbori River. Visitors can take a peaceful stroll amongst these seasonal flowers while indulging in pink cherry blossom-flavored ice cream, desserts, and drinks for a satisfying experience.

The garden will host a special photo spot called Sakura Reflection, perfect for photographers and models to capture enchanting photos.

Coinciding with these beautiful blooms are 250,000 colorful tulips! Rainbow pathways created by these beautiful flowers serve as the perfect foreground for arching cherry blossom trees within the park. The dazzling fields with 202 varieties of tulips can be found in the Tulip Garden among tranquil ponds and quaint pathways.

During the flower festival, visitors can dive into a variety of food in the garden's beautiful shops and restaurants. From bubbly soda at the Flower Garden store to whole-hearted meals like omelet rice at the Keiryu Hiroba Restaurant, there are many appetizing options to choose from.
