Most maid cafes require you to pay a fee upon entering. In this scenario, the standard option includes an entrance charge and one drink.

There are various other items on the menu besides just food and drinks. Some maid cafes offer services such as a Cheki photo (*) or live dance performances for an additional fee.

Items commonly found on the food menu include omurice (omelet rice), hamburger steak, and desserts. The maids who serve you may also draw a picture or message on your food.

The rate for each service is as follows:
Entry fee: 500 - 1,000 yen
Drinks: 500 - 1,500 yen
Food menu: 500 - 2,000 yen
Dessert menu: 900 - 1,500 yen
Cheki photo: 1,000 yen
Live performance: 1,500 - 4,000 yen

Rules to Follow at a Maid Cafe

Each maid cafe has its own set of rules. Taking photos of the maids inside the cafe without their consent is generally prohibited.

Depending on the cafe, the menu may include services such as taking photos with a maid or taking a Cheki photo together. Be sure to order these services from the menu and obtain consent before taking any photos.

Touching a maid’s outfit or body while they are serving you, as well as using vulgar language, is strictly prohibited. Please adhere to basic social norms to fully enjoy your experience at the maid cafe.

Additionally, actions such as asking for personal information or waiting outside the cafe for the staff are strictly prohibited.
