Highlights of the Autumn Moon Festival
Spectacular Tokyo Moon Projection Show

From September 16 through November 10, visitors can witness the nightly TOKYO MOON ~Clouds and the 100-Year Moonlight projection over Yūsuike Pond. Four performances every evening at 18:40, 19:40, 20:40, and 21:40 will showcase a luminous moon drifting over a mist sea—created by an advanced fog system—giving the illusion of a moonrise in a fantasy landscape.

The projection art vividly captures the moon’s surface, including craters and details, and highlights its waxing and waning phases over approximately seven minutes, culminating in a breathtaking supermoon.
Additional fog sea displays fill the evening air at various times, creating an ever-changing celestial scene that immerses guests in a dreamlike atmosphere.
Celebrating a Century of Heritage

This year’s festival emphasizes the 100-year milestone of the pagoda Entsūkaku, a cultural treasure relocated from Hiroshima in 1925. As the illuminated pagoda stands as a testament to tradition and craftsmanship, the event’s visual storytelling echoes its long history, blending historical reverence with moonlit enchantment.
Seasonal Delights and Moon-Inspired Flavors

Complementing the luminous displays, the hotel offers an exclusive Evening High Tea featuring carefully curated seasonal treats. Guests can indulge in fall-inspired delights such as pear and caramel sweet potato tart, rabbit cookies symbolizing the moon’s legendary rabbit, and foie gras mousse.
These delicacies are crafted to evoke the bounty and spirit of the harvest season, paired with fine teas for a refined gustatory experience.
Moon Yoga: A Tranquil Escape Under the Stars

On October 4, visitors seeking deeper relaxation can participate in the Moon Yoga session held in the open-air Serenity Garden. Under a starlit sky and the gentle glow of the moon, participants will meditate and stretch amidst ambient sounds of singing bowls, fostering a connection with nature and their inner selves.
This immersive experience transforms the garden into a sanctuary of peace and mindfulness.
Takeout Sweets for the Soul

For those wishing to carry the moonlit magic home, the hotel shop offers beautifully crafted seasonal confections, including the autumn-inspired pear and caramel sweet potato tart, available from September 1 to October 31. These artisanal treats serve as perfect souvenirs or delightful gifts.
