It appears that the inspiration for their interior design this restaurant has found in the public bathhouses, present in Japan ever since the olden days. You can almost feel the Showa presence in the tiles, as well as the warmth and the hospitality coming from the wooden interior.

This time we tried these delicious burgers based on the restaurant’s recommendation – the Kobujime Fish Burger (850 yen before tax) and the Fried Aji Burger (850 yen before tax), with added namban sauce (100 yen before tax, *1).
*1 Namban sauce: a sweet-savory sauce made by mixing onions, ginger, and other ingredients with vinegar.
This is the Kobujime Fish Burger – you definitely shouldn’t miss the flavorful combination of the chopped takuan (*2) with the cabbage. But the complete winning formula includes the Japanese-style dashi-tofu sauce, which gives this burger a rich, savory tone, and the kelp (kombu), which is a great combo with the fried fish.
*2 Takuan: daikon radish pickled with salt and rice-bran.
What a better way to make everyone remember your restaurant’s logo, than to grill it into the upper bread slice of your burgers? Cute, isn’t it? And the buns are a real aromatic delicacy themselves!
However, if you’re looking for something a bit more filling, try Fried Aji Burger.
