The Cheese IN Hamburger comes to mind when thinking about a popular standard menu item at family restaurants. Thick and creamy cheese has been inserted inside the hamburger before being grilled to perfection. It is 549 yen plus tax as an individual item, or you can get the set and add rice, drinks, salad, and more.

The A set comes with rice, soup, and the all-you-can-drink drink bar and is 399 yen plus tax. There are several set options to choose from, so please take a look at the restaurant menu and find the right combination for you when you come to visit.

The Pork Roast Tonkatsu Japanese Meal comes with rice, miso soup, and two side dishes for 849 yen plus tax. This dish adopts a Japanese standard menu style called ichiju missai (*1).

*1 Ichiju Missai: a menu composed of one type of soup (ichiju) and three dishes (missai). Typically, a small dish of steamed white rice is also added.

Oven Baked Edamame (Green Soybeans) and Bacon (199 yen plus tax) is perfect as otsumami (snacks) with alcoholic beverages. Aside from this dish, there are also several dishes you can enjoy for 199 yen such as a small serving of French fries and Spicy Kimchi Cold Tofu.

You can choose from Japanese beer Asahi Super Dry (449 yen plus tax/glass), Kaku Highball (399 yen plus tax), and more if you want to enjoy your edamame with a drink. Umeshu (plum liquour served on the rocks) can be ordered for just 99 yen plus tax.

In addition to the standard parfait and pancake options, there are also a selection of Japanese sweets. The Uji Matcha Cream Anmitsu (anmitsu is a dessert of agar jelly cubes, azuki bean paste, and fruit slices topped with sweet syrup) is 399 yen plus tax.

There are also limited edition menu items available on a seasonal basis, as well as various other menu items that don't stick to the theme of Japanese or Western food only too. This makes Gusto a very handy restaurant to choose when you haven’t decided on which genre of food you would like to eat.

A feature of family restaurants is their drink bars. Several drinks such tea, coffee, even soups, and more are also offered at Gusto. It is an additional 199 yen (plus tax) when ordering the drink bar together with food or dessert. If you will only be ordering the drink bar, then it is 399 yen, again plus tax.

Business Hours

Business hours will depend on the region it is located in and the day of the week, but there are many locations that operate from around nine in the morning to nearly midnight. Neighborhood locations will also have varying business hours.
