McDonald's Japan Creates Spicy Teriyaki Burger With Rockstar YOSHIKI
Japanese rock superstar YOSHIKI from the band X Japan has teamed up with McDonald's Japan for their 30th anniversary. He gave them the difficult request of creating a spicy teriyaki burger! Let's see what they came up with.

YOSHIKI, drummer and leader of the Japanese rock band X JAPAN, is a worldwide superstar. When McDonald's Japan asked if he would consider collaborating with them for their 30th anniversary, he agreed but decided to give them a difficult request: a spicy teriyaki burger.

Yoshiki is known for his love for spicy food but, usually, teriyaki burgers are on the sweeter side. So they named this collaboration "Mac ni Muchaburi", which roughly translates to "crazy request to McDonald's", and went to work. The collaboration resulted in two different YOSHIKI-approved teriyaki burgers.

The "Chicken Breast Spicy Teriyaki McBurger" (390 yen) is made with a juicy chicken breast patty and a creamy cheese sauce that contains onions and jalapenos. The teriyaki sauce covering the meat patty is also spicy.

The "Mother and Child Spicy Teriyaki Burger" (390 yen) contains a fried chicken filet, egg topping, and the same spicy teriyaki sauce as the standard version. Sweet lemon sauce gives this burger a unique twist.

If you get any of these spicy teriyaki burgers in a set with M size fries and a drink, each set will be only 500 yen.

The spicy teriyaki patty can also be enjoyed as "Teriyaki Muffin" (290 yen) made with fresh lettuce and sweet lemon sauce.
