This functional piece of art, the product of artist and architect Shusaku Arakawa and his partner Madeline Gins, is a colorful and interesting facility where guests may stay on a short term basis in one of two possible rooms.

BOOK AND BED TOKYO is a bookstore-themed hostel with about 1000 books on hand to choose from, plus comfortable lounge style seats and places where you can socialize or read on your own.

Guests can either sleep in compartments around the bookshelves or on bunks nearby.
