Latest update :

In the summer of 2017, the Tokyo Disney Resort held such events as the Disney Summer Festival and the Disney Pirates Summer.

While these events took place, Tokyo Disney Resort sold an array of souvenirs bearing motifs inspired by the fruit that were in season.

They were sold at the Grand Emporium and World Bazaar Confectionery shops inside Tokyo Disneyland.
In this article, we will showcase some of the unique souvenirs that were available at that time. Who knows, maybe they will make a re-apperance next summer.

Watermelon Goods - Feel the Japanese Summer

Watermelon really represents summer in Japan. So it will come to no suprise that it was the star of this collection.

The Minnie Mouse Watermelon T-shirt

スイカTシャツ

The watermelon T-shirt (3,900 yen tax included) was setting itself apart with its bright, vivid colors and A-line (Watermelon slice shaped) cut.

Because it was made from 100% polyester, it is very good at absorbing moisture. Even if you broke out in sweat while exploring Tokyo Disneyland in the humid Japanese summer, this T-shirt dries quickly.

The summer shows at Disney also include lots of water splashing. By wearing this, you wouldn't need to worry about getting wet.

You could see the playfulness of this T-shirt throughout. Even some of the scattered seeds on it were in the shape of Mickey Mouse heads. It's impossible to resist wearing it throughout the Disneyland experience!

Watermelon Cookies

Watermelon Cookies

For 850 yen (tax included), you can purchase a set of nine watermelon cookies. The cookies come in a tin that’s modeled after a piece of cut watermelon. A cheering Minnie Mouse is decorating the outside.

This tin can would be a cute memento from visiting the Tokyo Disney Resort and it can be used to store small items or candy.
